Gooood morning bag lovers! Tis the season for…bag greediness? Fashion wishes? That’s all this holiday season has got me thinking of, personally. Whether you’ve started Christmas vacation surrounded by family and food, or today is just another Wednesday for you - I hope you can scroll through these 3 vintage bags and daydream alongside me, coffee in hand.
Let’s dig in to the 3 vintage bags I’d just love for Santa to drop at my doorstep.
1) An Old, Worn Birkin 40
Emphasis on old and worn, because if it stands up straight - I don’t want it! I want soft clemence leather, gold hardware, and a dark burgundy. And lord knows yo girl aint liquid enough for this, so I say with my hands pressed together and my biggest puppy eyes - “Santa, pleaaaaase!”
2) Gucci Horsebit Chain Bag
Brought to us by the king himself, Tom Ford, the Horsebit Chain Bag has been at the top of my wishlist for a while. The problem? I want this one. Black, suede, gold hardware, studs. I won’t compromise on any of those features, and as I have yet to find one in stock on any resale site, it’ll be up to Santa to make this wish come true.
3) Gucci Indy
Okay this one launched in 2006, so come Jan. 1st, she’s officially vintage and belongs on this list! This one is so unexpected for my style but I cannot stop thinking about it - and it simply must be in cream (pss, did you catch that Santa?)
Tell me - what bags are you hoping Santa brings you this year? Comment, DM me - I want to know!
If you loved this guide, you’ll love what’s coming next. I write about vintage luxury in a way that feels fun, approachable, and never pretentious. Stick around, ask questions, and make yourself at home — you’ve always got a seat at this table.
